Of Blind Man’s Mind
“A little Learning is a dang’rous Thing;
Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian Spring:
There shallow Draughts intoxicate the Brain,
And drinking largely sobers us again.” – Alexander Pope (1688-1744).
Of blind
Man’s Mind
What rules
Is Fools
Whatever deny’d
She Pride;
For find
What Wind;
Pride Defence
And Sense!
If away
Truth Day;
Trust know
Make Foe.
A Thing
Drink Spring;
There Brain
And again
Fir’d imparts
In Arts
While Mind
Short behind
But Surprize
New rise!
So try
Mount Sky;
Th’ past
And last
But survey
The Way
Th’ Eyes
Hills arise!
